While preparing for Problem Set
4, I considered describing as if for a medical journal, how I picked up
my confidence that dropped from 95% to 93.5% after Problem Sets 2 & 3
pushed me to my lower limits.
Summarily, in English, I realize that if you want to be a "positive" outlier in life and be outstanding like Gauss, Poisson, Diener-West, Gosset, Rosner, Bandeen-Roche, Fisher etc, you have to reject the null hypothesis that you are not different from others; because in Biostatistics, we aim to reject. |
