My journey to the Subcontinent began with two Air France flights. The flights themselves weren't too bad (roughly 8 hours each), but the flight attendants left something to be desired. Anita and I were both scolded at various points for getting up to go to the bathroom or ask for some water. The seat belt light was on, but there wasn't any turbulence. Also the food and movie selection weren't great, but you can't expect too much. Fortunately, they did offer free Heineken with your meal. We arrived in Delhi exhausted and headed straight for our hotel -- adventures would have to wait for the next day.
